ONE Championship will conclude its 2018 calendar of events with ONE: DESTINY OF CHAMPIONS on Friday, 7 December.

The card, which takes place at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, features multiple-time Muay Thai world champion Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex facing Australia’s Luis Regis in the main event.

This will be the first time in the company’s history where a ONE Super Series Muay Thai contest serves as the evening’s headline attraction.

Now, just days away from event night, we take a look at some of the more interesting numbers regarding ONE: DESTINY OF CHAMPIONS.

#276 — The Number Of Yodsanklai’s Total Career Matches

It is hard to believe Yodsanklai will be competing in his 276th Muay Thai contest.

The Thai legend holds a 200-71-4 record, and he has more than two decades’ worth of experience.

During that time, he became a three-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion, a two-time Lion Fight World Champion, and a WBC Muay Thai World Champion.

Now, as he marches towards a ONE World Title, the 33-year-old seeks to get his 201st professional victory.

#24 – The Number Of ONE Events This Year

This is another interesting number.

Throughout 2018, ONE has held 23 live shows including three exclusive ONE Warrior Series events.

ONE: DESTINY OF CHAMPIONS will be the promotion’s 24th event, and it will also mark the third time the organization has held a show in Malaysia this year.

#13 – The Number Of Bouts That Will Entertain Fans

Martial arts fans watching from all around the globe, and especially in Malaysia, can expect fireworks from start to finish this Friday.

There are 13 exciting match-ups on the card, including nine mixed martial arts bouts and four Muay Thai contests.

The night begins with the debut of Cambodian-American Sovannahry Em, who meets Iryna “Delsa” Kyselova in a flyweight bout, and it concludes with the historic main event.

#10 – The Number Of Career Wins Subba And Thani Can Achieve

A pair of hometown heroes is looking to get their 10th professional victories at ONE: DESTINY OF CHAMPIONS.

The country’s top flyweight, Gianni Subba, will square off against China’s “The Southern Eagle” Ma Hao Bin on the main card.

Also, in the co-main event, Kuala Lumpur’s own Agilan “Alligator” Thani will meet Kiamrian Abbasov in a battle between welterweight contenders.

#3 – The Number Of “Shadow Cat’s” ONE Appearances

Jihin “Shadow Cat” Radzuan has experienced a marvelous year in ONE.

The Ultimate MMA Academy product has won both of her promotional bouts — first submitting Puja Tomar via triangle choke in March, and then defeating Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol via unanimous decision in July.

Now, the undefeated 20-year-old looks to beat former ONE World Title challenger Jenny “Lady GoGo” Huang at the Axiata Arena. This will also be the first time she has appeared on the main card.

#1 — The Number “Jordan Boy” Is About To Experience

The promotion’s most recent Malaysia signing will officially make his ONE debut on Friday.

Mohammed “Jordan Boy” Bin Mahmoud will square off against Stergos “Greek Dynamite” Mikkios in a ONE Super Series Muay Thai bantamweight clash.

Although it will be the first time the Kedah-born athlete competes in ONE, we are certain he will make more appearances in 2019.
