Jihin “Shadow Cat” Radzuan may only be four years into her professional mixed martial arts career, but the Johor Bahru native has shown that she has what it takes to compete at the highest level of the sport.

As a teenager, the ONE Championship atomweight athlete overcame a self-confidence issue through martial arts, and now, being one of Malaysia’s top warriors on a global stage, she wants to continue inspiring a whole new generation of athletes.

Here are three reasons why she is one of the most adored atomweight athletes in the world.

#1 Great Personality

The Ultimate MMA Academy standout never shies away from questions or any media interviews while preparing herself for an upcoming battle.

Jihin is ready to let her fans know from A to Z, whether it is her diet or a game plan she has been working on.

Besides that, the “Shadow Cat” is a wonderful team player too, often lending a helping hand to her teammates when she is not in training camp.

#2 Diversified Skillset

With five wins from seven professional matches, Jihin is an incredibly exceptional athlete in The Home Of Martial Arts.

In her debut against Puja “The Cyclone” Tomar in Kuala Lumpur, she exhibited her strength and grappling, overcoming India’s National Wushu Champion by second-round triangle choke.

Then, she showed her striking capabilities and unbreakable grit against Indonesia’s Priscilla “Thatie” Hertati Lumban Gaol to earn a dominant unanimous decision victory.

During her most recent win in July 2019 against Jomary “The Zamboanginian Fighter” Torres, the warrior revealed yet another trick, mixing her forward pressure, striking, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to earn a deserving first-round finish against Torres.

#3 Love For Cats

If you do not require any help in regards to martial arts, the former MIMMA Women’s Champion knows a lot about cats. In fact, this is one of her most unique traits, because she even works out with her feline friends.

The wushu World Champion’s love for the feline species started at a young age, and a quick glance on her social media profiles will show you just how much she adores them.

In the gym, her two best furry friends are Teddy, a Persian cat, and Okra, a Domestic long-haired cat.
